Me and my partner stayed at Asha Guesthouse during our round the world tour in 2006 and i have to say i absolutely loved this place. We actually returned 3 seperate occasions as we prefered to stay there than find somewhere closer to the Khoa San Rd. I would like to return to Thailand soon and we will definately stay back at Asha, we absolutely loved the food too, i think i ate chicken fried rice and a roti everyday - yum yum!! Thank you Asha Guesthouse for being one of my happy memories of my travels, we hope to see you soon, Amy and Ollie

I just stopped by your guest book to say hi guys, and thanks again for wonderful stays at Asha in 2007 and in 2007! I hope our family can come again sometime in 2008! The restaurant food is good, the pool is wonderfully cool on hot days, the location quiet and garden-like but close enough to sky train, and best of all are the wonderfully helpful and kind staff. Even, thanks so much for letting us stop by and catch our breath on our journey back to China from the Islands, even though we didn't spend the night passing back through. Asha for us is like a home away from home. Yah, the hall baths are not luxurious, and nobody appreciates when guests act slovenly (thankfully few) but just wear flip flops in the bathroom, that's not what you're going to remember about Bangkok! I imagine there's no better value for the money or more laid back ambience in Bangkok! The only thing I would change, if asked, would be to put a bit more light in the rooms and maybe do check the baths a few times more often during peak hours, but to anyone reading this -- I know from experience that if a problem is ever reported to this staff, they do something about it and get it resolved quickly.

This place is not a dive. I always stay here when I'm in Bangkok. On my very first visit I didn't like the idea of shared bathrooms, but they were clean. The host assured us that if we didn't like it they would not be offended. We stayed and now I think you can't get anywhere better than this for the price that they offer. Try it.

Friendly staff who is always willing to help you to feel at home. The common bathroom are clean and the free usage of washing machine helps a lot. I will definitely be going back to stay there again

Wonderful place, clean & tidy, no sweaty smell like most guest house in SEA, close to Sky Train (10mins walk) cheap and delicious local food around. One the most value for money place I stay in Thailand.

A wonderful place, and not just for the younger crowd! Welcoming, friendly people and a comfortable atmosphere made it our perfect "home" while traveling in SE Asia.

It would never occur to me that I will like Asha that much. Asha was just a last minute arrangement for me. I called Asha up at 4am!I checked out on Thursday and went back again on Friday after my trip out of bangkok. The place was like a magnet!

Asha is not only a place that offered rooms with cheap rates, it is also a very cosy place with very hospitable staff. Rat and Nok from the bar are very friendly. With such staff, the bosses are definitely the same! Well, the people who stay there are just as sweet too!

The place is 10 mins walk away from N7 Saphan Kwai station. Be assured, the journey to the station and back to the guesthouse is never boring. BTS is the best way to get u around the city without getting ripped off by the tuk tuks or taxis!

  Thanks for the great accommodations!
It's a very convenient place and it's near the city! I love the set-up! Swimming pool, free internet, free washing machine with pretty fish tanks! Also, an important factor for me--> very kind and cheerful owners as well as staff! Thanks again! =)

We always stay here when we come to Thialnd. It is a great home base. Besides the good facilities, I like the shopping nearby with its realistic Thai prices, the safety and the fact that Mike and everyone else will really go out of their way to help you make that early morning plane! It's a friendly, clean place with nice touches. It's also a great place to get information when you are planning the next stage of your trip.

First time Bangkok, if all guesthouses are like this one I will love Thailand. BTS Skytrain is only a short walk away and the JJ Market is just round the corner.
I will come back here when I am next in Bangkok.
